The Farce Awakens: George Lucas, Star Wars And The Death Of Episode VII

I have always been a Star Wars fan. The first time I walked down the toy isle at the local Zellers and saw a Yoda action figure I was hooked. I grew up as a small child watching The Droids and Ewok cartoon shows then as I aged I watched the Ewok movies. I was enthralled by this universe that George Lucas created.

"Duh dah da dadda duh, dut duh da. Star Wars trilogy on video!"

I still remember that commercial! I was so excited to see the actual Star Wars films.
Soon after I walked myself into the local drug store and rented Star Wars: A New Hope.
Blown away!
The next night I rented both, "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".
I never knew that a film series could be so good.
I soon owned many copies of each film. Special editions, the originals, VHS to DVD.

I read everything I could get my hands on that was Star Wars related. I soon found out that the original trilogy was just part of a larger story. Episode 4,5 and 6 were the middle trilogy. George Lucas had written a much longer story from day one. He had decided that it was much too lengthy for one film. He separated them into three trilogies. The classic episodes, 4 to 6 told the story of young Luke Skywalker and his journey into defeating the dark side of the evil glactic empire, as well as coming to grips with his father, Anakin, who turned so many years previous, from being a faithful Jedi knight to becoming the evil Sith, Darth Vader. Lucas planned a prequel trilogy to tell the story of how Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side. Lastly he had a sequel trilogy plan telling the stories of Luke and his children. It was a generational saga, like a space version of "East of Eden."

In the 90's I wondered if these films would ever be made. It was years since "Return of the Jedi" was released and there was no talk about the prequels or sequels.

Then they announced Episode 1 was being filmed. This was what I was waiting for all those long years, to get the rest of the story. I started collecting everything I could with "Star Wars Episoide 1: The Phantom Menace" written on it: Every Pepsi can, McDonald's toy, poster, or magazine I could get my hands on.

I didn't get to camp out and see it opening day. But I saw it opening week and I was blown away. Lucas had done it again! Another masterpiece. I remember taking a friend with me to the cinema who had never seen the originals. He sat there awe-stuck. He went home and watched the originals that weekend and concluded that Episode 1 was the best of them all.
Lucas released episodes 2 and 3 with similar effect. Though Hayden Christensen was a disappointment as Anakin, the rest of the cast and the fantastic story made up for his lack of acting skills.

I finally was able to see how Darth Vader came to be, how the Jedi and the Republic were destroyed as well as being introduced to a whole slew of new characters, each as deep and fascinating as those introduced in the original trilogy.

With the prequels came the cartoon shows and more novels and comic books. I lapped it all up.

Then in 2012 the bottom fell out! George Lucas sold Star Wars to Mickey Mouse!

"What! Where are my sequels? I have been waiting twenty years to see the rest of the story unfold."

George had already started pre-production on episode 7. Then his girlfriend had a baby. George is an old guy and he knew that jumping fully into bring the last chapters of his saga to completion was going to take a lot of time and energy, so he decided to pass it off to Disney and stay at home with his young family.

Originally the plan was for him to stay on as advisor of all things Star Wars. "Would this character say this or do that?" "If we take the story this way would it line up with your saga?" etc. Disney originally told him they were making the films based on his scripts.

Well none of that ended up happening. They threw his scripts, plots and many of his characters into the garbage. They made it clear they didn't want him to advise them on anything.
They wrote a whole new story and called it, "The Force Awakens"

"What! When did the force go to sleep?"

They hired over-blown and over-rated J.J Abrams, the creator of "Felicity" and "Alias" to direct and co-write the script.

So they want Star Wars to be pretentious and whiney like everything J.J has ever done?
They are trusting the creator and writer of "Lost" to keep the continuity of Star Wars intact? Great idea because Lost had no continuity. He made a mess of his television shows, he will make a mess of  the Star Wars canon.

Great! Fantastic! False fans celebrated everywhere. You see, many people disliked Lucas' directing on episodes 1 through 3. They felt he focused more on the special effects than on the characters. That's all fine and dandy to have that opinion, I suppose, seeing as George Lucas only directed episode 4 in the original trilogy, leaving "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return Of The Jedi" in the capable hands of others, who did extraordinary jobs. Whatever criticism faux fans of Lucus could be remedied by allowing others to direct his stories, not butcher the saga by writing a new story when the originals are not yet finished.

Disney doesn't even have the bravery to label this new travesty, Episode 7, because it's not. It's not the film, not the beginning of the trilogy we have been waiting for since we all watched, "A New Hope", all those years ago.

I have never felt so sick about a studios' decision in all my life. Some nights I lay awake thinking about it.

Am I surprised? No.

When Walt Disney started his studio he had a standard for the art in his cartoons. All the cartoonists had to conform to Walt's style. That is what Disney does to everything: They take something original and creative and change it to fit their mold. Not improve, it but rather, "Mickey Mouse" it.

I went to Disney World a couple of years ago and saw a Goofy stuffed toy with Darth Vader garb and a Mickey Mouse Yoda. That is what they are doing to Star Wars, making it "Mickey Mouse" instead of the epic saga we have had thus far. They are not only watering down the story but replacing it with a cheesy cartoon version of itself.

I am reminded of a scene from Chris Farley's, "Tommy Boy". He was trying to sell his brake pads to an automotive parts dealer. The owner insisted that he wanted a guarantee on the box, that it made him feel all warm and toasty inside.
Chris Farely's character, Tommy explains why his competitors put a guarantee on the box "Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of sh**. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me."

I hope the new Star Wars film flops. But it won't, because the Star Wars name represents something. All the fans of the past films expect something. The continuation of the space opera that George Lucas wrote in the 1970's; of the generational saga that has been presented so far; the sci-fi fantasy that has left audiences in awe. The public sees the title Star Wars as a guarantee of these things.
The fans won't get any of those things. They will get what Tommy Boy described so "elegantly". Or how I would put it, Mickey Mouse dressed up as Darth Vader.

Radio vs Reality

Wednesday I was listening to the rock station here in Calgary.
The two radio hosts addressed two separate news story's.

First they spoke on CFL player Maurice Price's recent tweet referring to his belief that living a homosexual life was against his beliefs as a Christian. (http://www.calgarysun.com/2014/05/12/calgary-stampeders-receiver-maurice-price-tweets-about-michael-sam)

These two radio hosts, Gerry Forbes and Stephen Murray roasted Price not for the language of his tweet, (which left a lot to be desired) for Price also released a official statement which made clear his intention. The two hosts expressed disgust that Price would have these views at all. They expressed his views as "archaic" and Gerry stated "Times have changed, you need to get with the program or get out" The two hosts were in a fit about Prices comments being not only inappropriate but also unrealistic and ignorant. Stephen expressed disgust that its "Price's personal belief as a Christians"

The second story the two hosts discussed, again in the sports world was that of Anderson Cooper's interview of Donald Sterling. I in fact had no idea who Sterling was until hearing the discussion and looking further into the details that afternoon. http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/11/us/donald-sterling-interview/
I heard these two radio personality play clip after clip and lambast this 80 year old man for many things that can be attributed to his age.
Sterling apparently in explaining a situation with the young lady that released unflattering audio of Sterling, asked Anderson if he had ever been jealous over a girl. As most of the world knows Anderson is an outspoken homosexual. Gerry and Stephen apparently feel that Sterling assuming that Anderson is straight is a sign that he is a delinquent old man. The two radio hosts went to air audio bits of Sterling explaining his view on Magic Johnson's extra marital affairs as "setting a bad example for young people" and audio of his view on how Jews and blacks act to fight poverty, I don't know if sterling is a racist or not. But the way that Gerry and Stephen expressed their view on the situation was that this elderly gentlemen has no right to express his views nor due to his age are his opinions valid.

In both news story's these DJ's expressed clearly that they feel that society has no place for the old fashioned views of the aged and those of the Christian faith. The words social acceptable were thrown around a great deal. Gerry even said of Price that he should "Shut his mouth..." that he has no right to express his view on homosexuality publicly (The CFL seems to agree because they are giving him a hefty fine)

Gerry's radio show, which includes Stephen and reddogg is filled with profanity, vulgar jokes and the promotion of unhealthy living. They joke around about female/male gentile, sex, stalking, rape, divorce, drugs and other less then appropriate things. They express to their listeners what they consider to be normal, which mostly involves getting drunk every day/weekend, going to strip clubs, doing cocaine and heroin and sleeping with prostitutes. Then they turn around and express that these two gentlemen are out of line. Its a little more then hypercritical.

My point is this: society as a whole has had a shift the last number of years. Previous generations fought for civil rights and freedom of speech, never envisioning that it would transform into a hybrid of freedom to only speak what is the status quo. previous generations envisioned a future free of racism and freedom of religion. Now we have religious oppression and discrimination of the elderly and a low view of human life.
In our society, its OK to say whatever you want regarding sex, drugs and addiction as long as you are promoting it and not expressing a world view that is contrary to the status quo. I see this clearly in the way these two radio hosts present them selves daily, then turn around a give a scathing rebuke to those that are no where as offensive and obscene as they them selves are. What these two present on a daily basis would never have been acceptable even ten years ago (I was in hot water for much less when I was a radio personality) that fact that it is now thrown upon the public like vomit on a kitten is disturbing, even more disturbing is they have gall to criticize others.

UnderRated Superheros

Here is the list folks, I encourage you to take my suggestions and check these sources out! Most of these Characters are not used up to their potential partly because the company that own the rights (DC) partly because they are new (Deadpool) or old (the Shadow) or look weird (nightcrawler, Martian manhunter) In most cases they have not been given the chance to succeed (now or ever in most cases) I see potential in all these characters if only some great comic book writer (and the public) gave them a chance. Hope you enjoy it!

1.) Captain Marvel

Powers:
he has the Wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury. Captain Marvel’s mystical properties screws up whatever he’s facing (Such as the time he was able to surround his fists in mystical energy to help disrupt a force-field that a mage had created). He also has a “lightning” bolt which he uses as an offensive weapon along various other abilities. His lightning bolt is not actually lightning; it’s energy from The Source, coupled with the spell that creates Captain Marvel. It can be used to heal, Hailed as "The World's Mightiest Mortal” he is basically the strongest there is!
Success:
He had the highest selling comic book in "the golden age of Comics
Some facts :
"( 1930’s-1940) His alter ego is one Billy Batson, when he says SHAZAM (the name of the wizard who gave him his powers) turns into the powerful Captain Marvel. Unfortunately DC comics sued the original publishers of this comic (for having story lines similar to superman) and the law suit resulted in their bankruptcy, now DC Owns the rights has done barely any thing with the Character
Why he is underrated:
- He is stronger, faster smarted then superman,
-Its fun to say Shazam,
-His alter ego is a child so there are no conflicting problems with his personal life and his time kicking the bad guys butts.
-ok, check out the Graphic novel Kingdom Come and you will understand why this Guy rocks.

2.) Deadpool

Powers:
Accelerated healing factor enables him to regenerate any destroyed tissues or organs though his healing factor results in massive scar tissue causing his appearance to be deformed. He possesses enhanced strength, stamina, agility, and reflexes. At the time of the gene therapy that gave the character his healing factor he was dying of terminal cancer. An unanticipated side effect of the therapy was a rapid acceleration of the tumours as well, causing them to quickly spread across his entire body as soon as his powers fully activated. Deadpool's brain cells are similarly affected, which renders him resistant to telepathy. Deadpool is a superb assassin and mercenary, an expert in multiple forms of martial arts, and an expert swordsman and marksman.
Success:
Has his own Marvel title, is featured on X-Men Origins (who messes his character up big time) as well has Hulk vs. wolverine.
Some facts:
portrayed as a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with a mouth like Spiderman (he likes making jokes while he fights his enemies) however more dark humour ex. "anyone missing an arm... ha oh ya I forget this is your arm buddy, I guess my sword slipped...ha” originally a villain but has also been a hero when it will benefit his interests.
Why he is underrated:
Ok he is funny but not a pansy like Spiderman, he is dark and unpredictable which makes any story with him more interesting, he is relatively new (created in 1991), sweet costumes sweet weapons. Check out Hulk vs. Wolverine and you will know what I am talking about.

3. The Shadow

Powers:
the mysterious power to cloud men's minds, so they could not see him, able to also alter or control a person’s thoughts and perspectives.
Success:
Great success in the 1930 with radio programs and pulp magazines, in the late 80s DC did a short lived comic book series featuring the shadow. Five films have been made about the shadow with the most recent being in 1994. A new film is in the works.
Some Facts:
created in 1930, the original Dark Detective. Instead of hiding behind a mask like batman, The Shadow alters his enemy’s eyes so they cannot see him and if he does show them his form it’s a dark mysterious long faced man which brings fear into their hearts. His laugh is piercing and creepy not unlike the jokers laugh. He uses mans fear to bring them to confess or make a mistake so they will be caught, though he does use physical violence when needed and has two huge guns at his disposal. He has a league of helpers (all of those whose lives he's saved) in all kinds of fields at his disposal.
Why he is underrated:
He has spent very little time in the comic book world and is much older then most characters. He is dark, creepy powerful yet still very much human. The stories are full of mystery, suspense and delve into the dark side of the human heart and brain. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!" Listen to one of the radio programs and you will know what I am talking about "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit. Crime does not pay.... The Shadow knows!"

4. NightCrawler:

Powers:
Teleportation, His agility far surpasses that of an Olympic level gymnast, and his bone structure allows him great flexibility. His spine is more flexible than an ordinary human, enabling him to remain in a crouched position for a long time and perform contortionist-type feats without causing any damage to his spine. Nightcrawler's agility, balance, bodily coordination, and flexibility are all enhanced to superhuman levels. He has an ability to cling to surfaces with his hands and feet in a manner similar to Spider-Man. He also possesses superhuman dexterity, being able to manipulate items and fence with either hand, both feet, and his tail.
Success:
Has been a popular Character in X-Men and other Marvel comics and well as being in the film X2.
Some facts: real name Kurt Wagner, his father was a demonic warlord (Azazel) his mother a shift changer (Mystique) Because of his looks (blue skin, three finger hands, pointy tail) he had to hide in a circus most of his young life and when people found out what he looked like they have tried to kill him thinking he was a monster or demon.
Why he is underrated:
His personal story is just so dark yet he is so light hearted. When he first joined the x-men he was the practical joker of the bunch, always playing tricks and cracking jokes. He loves swashbuckling films and is a great sword fighter. Though his looks are scary he was a ladies man in the early years, Later on he grew into a devote Christian. Most characters with a past like Nightcrawlers turn bitter and evil, though his parents are evil and his looks like a demon this Character grows into a man of faith and love. Nightcrawlers story is that of hope forgiveness and redemption. nuff said.

5.) Martian Manhunter

Powers:
Super strength, durability, flight and shape shifting, super speed and “Martian” vision, both at levels close to those of Superman himself. He not only can turn invisible but also alter his density to become incredibly strong, tough and ultimately intangible. In addition to his physical powers, J’onn is also a very powerful telepath. He also possesses 9 different senses, has the ability to regenerate.
Success:
Appeared in many episodes of Smallville other that many guest appearances in the DC comics as well as having his own mini series and short lived regular title.
Some facts:
The character is a green-skinned extraterrestrial humanoid from the planet Mars, who is pulled to earth by an experimental teleportation beam (originally presented as an attempted communication device) constructed by Dr. Erdel. The shock of the encounter kills Dr. Erdel and leaves J'onn with no method of returning home. The character decides to fight crime while waiting for Martian technology to advance to a stage that will enable his rescue. To that end, he adopts the identity of John Jones, a detective in the fictional Apex City (later replaced by Chicago)
Why he is underrated: the Martian Manhunter is basically the Swiss army knife of Superheroes. Not only does he have powers but he is a detective, unlike superman who relies on his super strength this guys has smarts and brawn. In the early days of he had alter ego, so he fought crime for a living as well as being a superhero on the side...that’s an interesting story. Later his alter ego was killed action (John Jones) so he reveals his existence to the world, after which he operates openly as a superhero and becomes a charter member of the Justice League. This guy is sweet one time he’s even regenerated his entire body from only his severed hand. His story is interesting, his powers are awesome and he’s friggen green! I wish I could refer you to something besides smallville, if you find any of his rare solo comics pick them up and take a gander at a great superhero.

Runner ups Silver Surfer (check out silver surfer issue one amazing! He is well known but not well written for the most part..)
Gambit-mysterious his story of redemption is compelling, though popular not popular enough for his own long running title what’s up with that?
Professor X- only hero in a wheel chair, crazy smart and one of the best leaders if not the best in the Comics period.
Black Bolt- overlooked by most fans of Comics and never gets the respect thats due, king of the inhumans champion,

His electron-harnessing ability is linked to the speech center of his brain. Speaking triggers a massive disturbance with a word capable of leveling a city. The silent hero, the king of the whole inhuman race, he is hero with patience wisdom and great power.

Perfect

"...God gave man a nature that was ordered to a supernatural life. He created man with a soul that was made not to bring itself to perfection in its own order, but to be perfected by Him in an order infinitely beyond the reach of human powers." - Thomas Merton

"It's a force that appears to be negative, but actually shows you how to realize your Personal Legend. It prepares your spirit and your will, because there is one great truth on this planet: whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it's because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It's your mission on earth." - Paulo Coelho " The Alchemist"

"And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." - James 1:4

To live and breath in this moment! There are feelings that are all mine. No one else's. No one has ever felt this way and no one ever will. Those feelings that identify with ones very soul; When ones soul is completely in line. The fulfillment of a feeling that is all your own.

No one can view or tap into the ora, the scent of the divine connectedness that is Byron Frank. It's like I am plugged into something wonderful. I have power, I have life. I know it is from God because it is what I feel when he speaks to me in prayer and from his word.

I feel it when I recognize or identify with something. A poem, a book, a song, a person. For some reason I see this deep down part of my self. It releases a surge of happiness like no other. The effects? ..... Dreams

I believe God is in my dreams. He has made me; he has made all of us to do somethings. To accomplish certain goals. To live out our purpose!

The Bible talks about being made perfect through Christ. If one would go back to the original Greek we would see the word used for perfect was teleioun. Teleioun is the verb of the adjective teleios. This word does not mean abstract and metaphysical perfection. It is more referring to function. So teleios means a thing that perfectly carries out the purpose for which it was designed. So to be made perfect in Christ is not to be perfect in deed and character but to carry out the function in which you were designed. So what we really should be doing is to be striving to live out the purpose Christ has for you and me as individuals that love the Lord and want to do his will. Its not about getting to this place of complete Christendom where you are faultless and never make a mistake. Its about being who God created you to be, doing what God made you to do; "Discovering your personal legend ".

Its more about discovery your spiritual gifts then saying what a good christian should say, or reading what church people say you should read or having the right "church" friends. "Identity", "freedom", those words are what we should be thinking on.

So often in my life and I am sure in many others lives we hang onto other purposes. We feed into false purposes that were never ours, are goals are false goals. We collect possessions thinking they will fulfill that need, they never do, we watch shows that are about adventure so we feel like we are part of it, but we are not, those are stories of others adventures. We see someone walking with confidence, in the purpose that God created for their lives and we imitate them. We put their life goals on our shoulders.
"We could be like Billy Graham or mother Teresa or Rob Bell ?"
No we could be like Byron Frank, Dana Wagner, Calem Albert, Jayde Hayden ! (Just some people who I think are great and I see God has lots for them and for the sake of flow they all have different last names.) To be me, for you to be you! To be made perfect through Christ Jesus! To live out the adventures he has sent us on. To find your identity in Christ.

Thats not an easy task, to find ones identity in Christ. It takes a lot of soul searching, prayer and learning. However there are these moments of true identity. Bam! your hit with inspiration, dreams and goals that rip through your insides.

I have many dreams and goals (many unrealized, unfulfilled dreams and goals) Jesus wants me to live them out with courage and confidence, not with reluctance and tippy- toes. To live for the fullness of his glory, "my utmost for his highest".

He wants that for you too. Find out what God has made you for, find out what he placed in your soul to accomplish and do not let anyone or anything hold you back from doing them. they could be your destiny.

New York city in the fall

The story I tell is for my friend
The way I see is nothing.
The step I took was for something

Can you see the red dress girl?
with her hair in curls

I tried on my fathers shoes.
I wanted to dance with you.
I see a lot of good in you.
I am pretty naked here
among the lost ones.

I am found, resurrected to some
For those that are forgiven much
much must come.

This came to pass
with the last glass of cool liquid
in her hand.
Did she swallow it down?
Perhaps threw it on the ground
did she smile at him
or just think of sin?

I gave all so she would stay.

Was it a need that was felt?

I am walking out.

I am not stable right now.
I am lost only when I am found.

She gave her clothes to the pimps and pushers of the hate trade.
she gave her love to the gluttons

I am left with nothing but words
shredded stripes.
I am lost in a smile.

Bitter roots and bitter words
what comes out is tears and prayers

At last I am alive.
Just to fear what I may find.

I shake this dust and it settles on my memory.
Is there more to been seen?

I can't find my path in this mess.

She said that light comes from her head
but you lost your way.

Lets hide in the trees
never to be found
lets go on a merry go round.
There is no sound....

I have never had a girl love me....

A boy at night--the burning man comes again

( I wrote this december 2007, the truth is I read it now and see how true it really is. I thought i was crazy when i wrote it. I asked myself "Is this a bit much?, Is it God or my creative mind that gave the vision.?" I again am reminded of the power of my Lord Jesus Christ... not only is this true about me but it was given to me with such power at the time and so little did I understand. So little do I give the Lord credit. He is so powerful and he speaks in me with such words and visions. I am truly blessed to have been told of the pain that I have endured before I endure it for I know Christ lives and breaths and he is the one who holds my hand all through the storm. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Let it ring out in the darkness and the cold echo of the night for it is the only truth I know.
-BF)

And here it is the sound of waiting, the story of breathing:

Beneath sheets of cold rest. The flame plays in front of him and he smiles because the light is warm and anchors the eye.

Darkness may fall, but all it takes is a spark to ignite the flame. And he calls out in a quite voice "Oh Lord of my rest come to me in this state"

Do I know this son of the rock?

Do I know his plight, oh good reader...he is I!

For I cry and do not know why.

My heart is something I can not grasp, my hearts desire is to large for my body to contain.

And I LONG! And I can not stop. Is it God in me or the Devil inside of me? I am more then I can be. I hit the bottom of the barrel and the sound stops time. My dreams are affected with the worlds sex sin....and i don't know why it will not stop.

God answers....he does, he does....He is the light ...the only lights I see.

I will spend my whole life calling out for peace.

The little boy lies there in bed and cannot sleep...

oh he wants to sleep. Why can't it just come upon him.

He begins to pray for he feels so helpless. How long has it been? a week, a month, a year? It has been 5 years and he has not shut his eyes....its been five years and sleep does not come.

Forms dance on the ceiling above...

It is the pain that he has deep within his heart. They come every night and dance and dance. The sound they make is what the boy can not describe.

It is the ticking of the clock, it is the hollowness that he wishes he would never have known.

Nothing can explain away this boys condition. This world will take all they can from him. Oh what boys should never have seen, why was there no hero to save him from it all.

There is a deep sense of purpose in it all dear reader. Is this a sad story? If tears fill your eyes then they match the tears I cry as I write my story out.

Innocence never was....untimely ripped from the peace of childhood into a world of adults.....Sex .....sex.....sex....sex. Vulgar, obsene....real....real ...real.

"Make it stop!" he says

He crys as his hand burns on the flame.

"Oh my light, my little light, why do you hurt while you shine."

Salvation comes over his body and his little hands shake. Sleep overcomes him and he is saved.

The process is included, batteries are not.

Salvation lives side by side to the longings in his heart....

right beside the hurt, the un-healable wound.

"SALVATION!"

Call it by name little one. It will ring out forever it does not end. It is not something that stops! It is a process that takes a life time.

Your destiny calls. You will never know yourself, you will never know so much. You will forget and you will change.

No one will ever understand you! You will walk alone in this world. But you have something unseen, you have an unseen force and he is man, and he will keep you on.

You will bleed, and you will be close to death your whole life, sputtering and coughing.

There are pins and needles from a dark hand....

the clocked figure will follow you. He will whisper venom in your ear.

Your friend will just give you enough to go the next mile.

And every scar shows its wear, clearly visible. You can not force this away little one.

You will never be what the others are.

You have people living inside of you,

you have infinite people in there and never will one alone come out.

"Come out and play!" people will call.

They all come running and get stuck in the doorway.

BUT THE VISIONS AND THE DREAM YOU WILL HAVE.

You will see....truly see! Like no one has ever seen. It will rip you apart...

Your eyes are not like anyone else's.

Your tears are like no one else's.

Your smile is like one else's

Your laugh comes from a place that no one else has

Your visions, Your dreams, your understanding will Change the world.

"How can I do anything with this?"

You do not need to little one.

Everything happens for a reason, there is nothing in your life that is not building.

You will kill the dragon, you will kill the dragon upon your back.....

but it will cost you your whole life.

And no one will understand, and your pain will consume you.

The flame engulfs the boy and he burns, visions form, and dreams take flight.

And he comes again....

The burning man speaks.

The boy rips out his burning heart and trys to give it to the world but there is no chest in which it fits.

In the end there will be death,

but his life is a life of love.

A love that...

can not be appreciated in this world.....

and so the pain will never end.

To walk on the given path

Leaving the safe for the narrow.
Leaving cushions for arrows.

Water in my eyes
and toil on my breath.

Giving it my all
until I have nothing left.

Dreams of the future push me on.

Visions show me a man,
reflecting green,
An image and an outline.

He says, "Follow me."
So I comply.

He gives me tests like candy.
"First the bitter, then the sweet,"
He warns with his friendly tone.

"Shall I marry Faith?"

He gives his response with a smile.

"Patience."
Always the same,
that one word
for every step.

"I want love,"
I say in a sad tone.

"First,
Learn how to give it."
Love
defined by a Man,
a star so hard to reach.

"Bleed with me?"
I see his face,
A million sorrows worn!
All for love of the World.

"I will bleed."
I weep for breakfast
and eat pain for lunch.
My lesson is my supper.

"All things for the end,"
He states in a tone of finality.

"Yes, no glory here,
No perfect Love."

Waiting for the end
and working in the present.

My love is great
but not respected.
It grows with every cut and scrape.

Faith,
growing,
taking me where I fear to go,
robbing me of all selfish ideas
of happiness.

"The future I hold in my hand
is better then what your mind can comprehend."
The man speaks from all sides
in a loud commanding voice.

A wide open field I see.

"Is this my near-future,
alone to walk for evermore?"

"You did the harvest here,
this is the end of your future
and the beginning of your end."

I see the sun rise,
a new life.

I see Joy anticipating.

I see Mercy looking for me,
eyes so bright.

I see a place of rest.

I see Love,
shouting my name!

"Is this Heaven,
or will I find these things on Earth?"
I ask,
rivers of lost years flowing to my eyes.

"You will find them.
They are promised to you."
His words hang in the air.

And I take my first step

Mountains I climb.
Paths I take.

I travel when I am asleep
and when I am awake.
The ground is rough and the road
is hard.

I walk this way
until I'm shown
another.
